Great addition to kit
The swagman roll is very impressive. I ordered it and used it immediately on a 4 day ruck. We got snowed on but this modern adaptation of the woobie kept me warm. I wore it during the day as a poncho to keep me warm and dry and at night I used it as a bivy and put my mummy bag inside of it. I figured I’d be cold, but this helped keep me a comfortable temperature. All in all I want to buy 2 more, one for the truck and one for my lady, I would highly recommend this to anyone

A Smart Design, Worth the Money
It would be simple to just call this a poncho liner and leave it at that. However, I don't think that would be a fair assessment. It's offered in a number of camo patterns and is water resistant in its own right, so functions equally as well as an outer garment as it does a liner. When used in conjunction with a poncho, you're effectively doubling up on the water protection. It's quite lightweight and provides good insulation. The only place this doesn't work as well for me as it might for some others is when it's converted to a sleeping bag. Being a little on the bigger side in the chest (50 inch), it gets somewhat tight bringing my shoulders inside the bag. That's the only shortfall for me, but given this is designed primarily to compliment/augment a standard rain poncho, then there's a limit to the size, so I certainly appreciate that and don't consider it to be a strike. To be a little funny about it; a standard rain poncho compliments this... not the other way around. :-) Everything else functionality-wise stated by HELIKON-TEX is an accurate statement. When worn in the poncho form, it's very comfortable and you can retain a lot of mobility. I think it's an excellent choice when you're camped (or in a hide) and wish to keep comfortable. To summarize, I think this is a great piece of kit to the point where I think it should become a standard item for almost any out-of-door activity that is hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, go bag, get home bag, automobile, etc. related. It offers a level of add-on weather protection and insulation that's just not the same from any other article of clothing that I can think of, nor have had experience with. I will definitely look to get another one sometime here in the future, so I would definitely by it again.

Good but not as expected
I have been wanting one for a while but they have been sold out or you have to pay a outrageous price and wait a month. Finally I found it in stock with prime shipping. First impressions are well made and I wore it out in the freezing cold for a while. It was warmer than I expected it seems to reflect body heat much like an emergency blanket to a lesser extent. I’m 6’2 fits fine. I do have a few complaints that may be no big deal for anyone else. First is I was expecting a waterproof outer shell like a poncho. This was my fault for not clearly reading. It says water resistant although I haven’t been in the rain yet the material feels like it will absorb and hold water during a extended storm. I now know you are supposed to connect it to a poncho. For the price I was hoping for a all in one deal. The other thing is the carry pouch is much larger than I expected I want it in my bushcraft bag and the photos make it seem like a small footprint. It’s supposed to be able to stuff into it’s own pocket I haven’t tried but I have my doubts or if you can it won’t be easy. It’s the same size as my x-large jungle blanket by snugpak when in its stuff sack. The things I like are it can be used many ways. You can wear it with or without the hood when not in use the hood goes into a pocket. You can also turn it into a sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner by zipping it up. You could also use it as an emergency shelter with some paracord. When I get it out into the woods and rain I will update and add another star if I’m wrong about the water shedding capabilities. Everything considered I think it is definitely overpriced for what you get. 80$ would be a reasonable price and competitive with a woobie or other poncho liners on the market. other reviews have stated its not durable and tears easy. i cant confirm or deny. it does feel well made but i will be putting it through its paces soon and ill update. thanks for reading

Holy cow!
Yeah the prices i up there but this thing is awesome. For motorcycle camping I usually just carry a mummy sleeping bag and a bivy bag. Things just got easier for me. This with a bivy bag? Good for 3 outta 4 seasons! Packs away tiny too. Sold!
