I have purchased this product from this particular seller monthly. The color selection is pretty. But, the last 2 orders I received have had the lengths of wool felt cut in half instead of the nice long strips they have been in the past. When they are cut in half like this you use more material when you are felting and your project takes longer. I am very disappointed and will be shopping for a new source. I wanted to let buyers know in case you need the longer strips like I do.

I didn’t purchase fir felting, I got it for spinning. I spun 6 yards of 2ply with one package of yarn. Each package seems to be a small cutting of roving. I can’t speak for the felting , but it spun up very nice for me. I wanted to make a multi colored yarn without having to dye or buy multiple roving. I plan on spinning into one ply and ply it with a black single.

Great little bits of wool fiber. Yes, it's real wool. I was initially turned off by reviews of "moldy" and "fake" wool. Not true, it's absolutely fine. A BUNCH of little packages of brightly colored, non-moldy wool roving. I'll use it for small wet felting details or for needle felt pictures.

I got this to put into a special twiggy ball I have that held Alpaca wool in it. The birds used all of that, so I came upon these. It's toward to end of breeding season for most of my birds. I may get another and leave it out for the squirrels next year. So... it's still full of wool. I'm hoping.

I am a beginner felter. I purchased these to get some color for practice. It takes very little to color something if you use core wool underneath. These are great for making felt paintings. They are carded and are soft.

Nice quality and very good value for the price. I can use it for my small needle felting projects. I am a beginner and already made a penguin and a chicken.

The price is amazing for the quantity of varying colors. These are difficult to use if you are new to weaving tapestries as the roving is less soft and sturdy compared to the roving you might purchase from a yarn shop. It’s a very short piece and sometimes when trying to break the circle apart it creates more than one piece of roving. This isn’t great since it’s already a minimal amount.The colors are wonderful and this a nice product for incorporating many colors in a tapestry in an affordable way but probably better for people who use this for felting rather than weaving.

Wow, this will be an amazing set for repairing wool sweaters and base layers. Great variety and organized in individual bags for digging around for right color.
