It is extremely useful for people who have recently shifted to a Thunderbolt Type C device (commonly available on laptops these days). It can Mirror as well as Extend your display. Extremely useful for people using multiple monitors. Saves a lot of money on docking station. It is way lot better than MHL cables which can only mirror and have compatibility issues with a lot of devices. If you have recently shifted to Thunderbolt Type C device, use multiple display, and are not able to find a device that can extend screen, this is just the perfect device.
