Aerostar 20x25x4 MERV 13 Pleated Air Filter, AC Furnace Air Filter, 6 Pack (Actual Size: 19 1/2"x24 1/2"x3 3/4")

Been using these filters for about 2 years now. Just ordered more and got them fast. Slightly smaller than the 14x14 return vents that I have in the ceiling. I put some box tape around them to seal them and it works. My old filters were a name brand sold in big box stores and didn't work as well as these filter do and they cost more for a lesser merv rating. My vents were getting dirty. I wish that they would make these filters true to size so that they would fit properly in the vents so I wouldn't have to use box tape. Old filters lasting me about 1.5 mos. these filters 2 to 3 months in this 70 year old house with no insulation. I would recommend anyone with breathing issues to try these filters. They helped me and kept the stuff floating around this old house filtered pretty good. Less dust and dirt. also have a NUWAVE air purifier. Don't change and clean filters as much. Between the both I can breathe and sleep better Try these filters, you will return to purchase them again. Oh, make sure that your system can handle the higher rated filter, as it has more restriction of air movement due to the way that is made to trap so much in the air as it passes through the filter. The higher the MERV, the more air restriction. If it can you won't regret purchasing them. You will be surprised just how much this filter traps and takes out of the air that you breathe.

I picked up a 6-pack of these Aerostar 20x20x1 MERV 13 Pleated Air Filters to combat the poor air quality during wildfire season. We attached them to our box fans, using the fan speed to hold the filters against the intake, and they worked like a charm! The filters lasted about 30 days under these tough conditions, and they significantly improved the air quality inside our house.Not only did these filters fit perfectly on our box fans, but the installation was also a breeze. It's amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference in our daily lives. With the thick wildfire smoke outside, these filters were essential in keeping our indoor air clean and breathable. They may have been designed for furnaces and AC units, but they worked brilliantly with our fans. If you're struggling with smoke or other air quality issues, don't hesitate to give these a try!

The package arrived on time and in great shape. I like the way it was packaged. It was easy to install. The only drawbacks I encountered with this filter was the lack of the MERV # on the filter itself. It was written on the box, but not on the filter. The other was that there were no instructions on the filter or with the package. I had to go online to see which way to install the filter.

These are good filters with a good MERV rating of 13, whereas air filter ratings of 11 and higher are best. Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values, or MERVs, report a filter's ability to capture larger particles between 0.3 and 10 microns (µm). The price is highly competitive, making this a good buy.

I read several reviews complaining about the filters arriving damaged because of poor packaging. Mine arrived in a sturdy box, all in good shape. They are not individually wrapped but the box is perfect for storying those not in use.

What's not to like. They work well and you can't beat the price. I bought a six pack, so I'm all set for a year.

We have 5 large dogs, including 1 Husky & 1 Husky/Malamute mix so we obviously cannot go 3 months on any 1 filter. We are able to make it 2-3 weeks with these though, without the AC getting hair into it and without a loss of power. If we try to go a whole month, the power loss is very evident. That is standard for any high quality MERV 13 filter. I would rate this one the same as the ones competitors offer for $18-24 each.

Appears to be just as great as more expensive brands. They aren’t individually wrapped which means they can collect dust prior to being installed. I just kept them in the tight fitting box they came in. Other than that, great product.

They are better than the Merv 11- they have a couple more pleats - making them have more material and folds. The only problem is that unlike the real expensive 3M -don't last quite as long. I get a month out of one- but only got a month and a half out of a 3M as I have severe allergies and they hardly look the slightest bit dirty when I change them out. They are so much more affordable. As of these size issues- I don't see much of an issue- tiny difference. I use a pinter's tape on the edge - taping it to the frame and always have with other filters to keep it in place.

These filters are good and fits properly in my furnace. I couldn't find the exact brand of filter which was used in my furnace initially by builder but these filters are all good. The only thing I dint like is they are not as sturdy as the one which my home builder installed. But overall very good worth the price paid. will definitely order in future.

You should use a MINIMUM MERV 8 in your furnace for better living. I changed out my furnace filter and in 2 weeks it's already black. There's a lot of stuff in the air you breathe in your house.I was also looking for replacement filters for my Sharp FPP40CX, so I bought the MERV 13 for my FPP40CX, I cut them in half for a perfect fit with foam tape on one edge for a perfect seal.Add a foam prefilter for air conditioners on top to catch more dust and longer lasting filters before changing.I hope that helps for people looking for replacement filters for their Sharp FPP40CX or other sharp units.

Good quality product. However for some reason - package was opened when I received it. I am not sure why they opened the package.
