I bought this backpack and tried it for around a year before I give this review. Great backpack and definitely a good buy for me! It is still in almost the same shape even though I have been using it everyday (and even used it when I was on holiday) and often carried heavy documents/computer/food/etc. Very practical with lots of different compartments as well as good quality in both material and comfort. Although the description does not say it is waterproof, I walked so many times when it showered but the inside never got wet. This bag is great for hiking also since I can pack quite a bit with it. For me, this is a great backpack!

I like the comfort and look of the backpack. It's not made of canvas as far as I can tell, I think it's actually nylon that's woven/printed to give the appearance of canvas, I don't know if that would bother anyone else though it doesn't particularly bother me. It can hold a decent amount of stuff so would certainly be useful for a whole day's activity. My one issue is the straps loosen from the retaining buckles far too easily, so it needs adjusting each time I put it on. That's not a major problem, but I am docking it a couple of stars because there doesn't seem to be any way of changing that.

The backpack is sturdy and made from good quality materials. The only issue it does not fit my lenovo w540. You can close the bag but the zippers snugly wrap the top corners of the laptop - not very safe.

This bag is perfect for my laptop, with another section at the front for all my.other stuff, plus water bottle holders on the outside. Love it.
