Great stool except that the cushion is only comfortable enough for a couple of hours max. And it’s not leather, as misleadingly written in some places within the Amazon entry.I tried to get used to it the same way that one gets used to hard bicycle seats but, even though it softened, after two weeks the cushion was still too hard for all day use at a sit/stand desk.I replaced the cushion with a thicker, wider cushion from Perch Chairs and Stools ($77) that has made an enormous difference.The wobble is excellent to keep moving all day. One can lower the legs, twist and turn the torso, flex different muscles. The column is extra tall but does not lower a lot so it may not be great for shorter people.

I've been looking for the perfect leaning stool for a long time to carry with me for performances. It needed to be portable, adjustable, extend to 32" (not all do), sturdy enough to hold my considerable weight, highly stable, stand on it's own and allow me to move freely while still taking some weight off my feet. After looking at all the options I took a deep breath and selected the Executive Plus model for $189.49 with prime shipping. I'm totally happy with this purchase and here's why.Pro's:The base! It's stable, safe and perfect. This wobble base is metal (not plastic). And there's a metal ring where the bottom and the top of the wobble base meet. This acts as a stop, so the base will only lean so far and doesn't feel like it will tip all the way or throw you off like other wobble stools. It's strong enough to put your weight on the top of the base without worrying about cracks or dents.The height adjustment is a ring that goes all the way around. Never have to fumble to find the adjustment lever. And this model is tall enough for my feet to barely touch the floor.Assembly is totally easy. Remove the shipping cap from the end of the support and push the padded seat onto it. Once assembled it stays put so no worries about the seat falling off during transport.The seat has a thick cushion making it comfortable for long-term use.The lift mechanism is sturdy -- no worries about failure.It stores easily when not in use or is unobtrusive when just sitting in a room.Cons:The metal base may mar or be damaged by hard flooring. I carry a rubber tile in my kit to use under the base.The seat sinks about 3 inches when you put your weight on it. Since I want my feet just barely touching the floor this makes finding the perfect height finicky. Once I get off the stool I have to either readjust the height or climb onto something to sit on the pre-adjusted stool.The "leather-like" seat sticks to my favorite jeggings -- Guess plastic and plastic don't slide well.My husband's legs are shorter than mine. This stool is too tall for him at the lowest setting. Be sure to order the correct model to get the height range you want.A foot rest would be a terrific addition but would add to the cost.A carry bag would be nice, but I recognize not everyone transports their stool.All-in-all my Cons are minimal and overly picky. This is a terrific stool and well worth the price. I anticipate happily using it for many years.

I liked the chair, it is good quality and looks professional, compared to the all-plastic ones. I am under 5 ft tall, and the shortest setting was too tall for me to be comfortable. I gave it to my daughter. She is a little taller at 5'4". She said that it is too tall as well. In her case, on it's shortest setting, she is too high above her desk and has to bend over to much to be comfortable. The height seems to be an issue. I would imagine that would be a bigger problem for a taller person then.

This is the second wobble stool I've had, but this stool is the creme de la creme of stools! Easy construction, heavy materials, luxurious padded seat, and a solid heavy wobble bottom that doesn't skid even on plastic floor mats. Perfect for my standing desk needs. Buy this stool.

I loved this chair except it was higher than expected. Even knowing it was the taller of the two options, at the lowest setting I couldn’t use it at my normal sitting desk because it sat too high. I ended up returning it.

The chair is perfect for spontaneous piano or stringed instrument compositions. It is mobile & light enough to be easily moved.

My wife loves it!

I purchased this chair due to the materials and the way it is built. It is not the one offered with the desk company. That one had issues that concerned me.
