A must buy for runners
Best thing I ever did was to buy this. Had problems with my IT band and after a sports massage was recommended I get a foam roller. A couple of runs after my massage I started to get a niggle again so immediately bought this. Came the next day and it's a life saver. I use before and after runs and even on rest days and I haven't had any problems since. The instruction book is great but to be honest the poster is enough for me as covers all areas of the body at a quick glance. I recommend this 100%. I'm running a marathon next year so want to avoid any injuries. Bought at reduced price but worth every penny of full price.

The poof sore back gone and hasn't come back I bought this item about 4 months ago and still no back pain. I still use it now and again for maybe a 10 min ses to keep working whatever working. BUY THIS!
If you are looking for a sign this is it.I don’t even exercise I use this because I sit at my desk all day and I always feel the need to crack my back. This does that it’s quite hard and sturdy, I can walk and stand on it so you don’t have to worry about breaking or bending it.It really releases pressure on the spine. Would recommend you YouTube how to do exercises as simply rolling this on your back is not recommended.I bought this over a year ago and recommend it to everyone

Very solid but wouldn’t recommend for beginners
Ok, this is all very new to me. First of all the poster & booklet give great tips to start you off which is great. The actual roller itself is very firm, which if you’re used to using & your muscles are used to probably give a very deep massage. However, I’m really struggling to use it a it’s just too painful for me yet. It is my calves, hips, thighs and back that I wanted this for the most as I run quite a lot. With the different sized dimples I’m finding it impossible to keep it on the wider ones & it keeps turning to the thinner ones which feel quite painful. I think this is better suited to someone that is already used to using a roller. I will persevere but think I’ll get a plain softer one to practice & get my muscles used to first! It will definitely give a solid roll & deep massage if that’s what you’re looking for!

Useful tool, but rock-hard.
When you see the word "foam", you think soft, fluffy, bubblesome. Fun.That's definitely not the case with this baby. Compounding the issue is the design - the spiky little bits are ok, but the larger flat panels can hit you like a sledgehammer. It absolutely does a job, but it's not for the neophyte (like me) or the pain-averse. I use it, but I've just bought a softer one, and the difference is marked. I already suspect that the newcomer will be getting more skin, but this will still have a place.

Good quality foam roller (with a bit of give)
I’ve seen mixed reviews on these so wasn’t quite sure, some saying they are fully solid plastic with no give, but this roller has a slight sponginess to it which I think is perfect. Let’s be honest these are not built for comfort, foam rollers are somewhat painful and uncomfortable but it is what it is on tin. You ache the next day after using it, just as you would with a good deep massage so I assume it has really worked the muscle. I’ve only tried it once, but found that the quality to be pretty good. The booklet is pretty handy too which gives examples of how to use it to target specific muscle groups

It's been great and has helped a lot with my back
I bought this to help correct my posture as I have Ankylosing Spondylitis. It's been great and has helped a lot with my back. Improving my posture also helps with neck pain and other posture related pains. I found using the smaller nodules a little painful to start with, but I don't have a problem now. I guess the pain was due to my back being rounded and putting too much pressure in one place.

Cracked after 42 days
This was fine while it worked, but it lasted only a month and 12 days, I am around 80 kg.If it would have not cracked, this would have been 4.5 stars.People complain that it is hard, but that is the point.Yes it hurts more in the beginning, but relief will come faster. It should be obvious that a roller with a plastic core is going to be hard. This roller has 2 surfaces, when you switch from one surface to the other it's not cool, it's a drop and a bump, not a smooth transition between the two at all, it would be much better to have two models one flat and one with the studs.
