Extraordinary Results! Read review for tips on using that worked for me
I am 47 years old and my beautician recommended derma rolling to me as she said it could help with my visible pores. I thought I would try it because it wasn't too expensive, and I thought maybe I would get a small difference, but enough that my make up would go on smoother.I have to admit I plunged right in with a 1.0mm needle. (I think you are supposed to start with 0.25 or 0.5mm though). At first, I could not believe how PAINFUL it was. The first time I did it, I just had REALLY sore skin, and could barely do it. And after, I just felt like I had bad sunburn. Then, I noticed my skin sloughing off. It looked awful. I nearly didn't use it again.Thankfully, I researched this, and found that it's a GOOD sign that the derma roller is working. So I persisted. I used it twice a week to start with (maybe that is too much) and then after two weeks, I switched to once a week. Every time, the pain got less, and ater using it the third time, I realised it wasn't painful at all.Initially, your skin sloughs off quite a lot, so when you put your make up on, these bits of old skin just rub off as you apply your foundation, and it is pretty gross. So I absolutely would not recommend that you commence derma rolling just before you want to look your best. BUT - by Week 3, I noticed a MASSIVE difference in my skin. It glowed. I mean, REALLY glowed. And not only that, but the areas where I formerly had blackheads, open pores, and rough skin (round my nostrils and on my chin) were now smooth, soft, blackhead free, and the pores all over my face are not visible because they are no longer clogged. I am not kidding you - I look 15 years younger. Genuinely. People have noticed. I have been derma rolling for about 2-3months now, once a week, and when I forgot to do it one week, the pores and blackheads and rough skin came back, and once again my foundation looked 'caked' when I put it in. Once I derma rolled again, I was back to having skin as smooth and fine as a baby's bottom. In terms of how I use it personally - well, I do eat a very healthy diet, and I also have an excellent skincare regime, so I had better start with that. If you don't look after yourself and your skin, you are probably not going to see such amazing results. Once a week I steam my face, do a scrub peel, then apply a clay masque. And every day, I clean my skin twice a day, and use eye gel, a really good serum, and moisturise. I never go to bed with make up on. I also used a 20% glycolic acid peel once a week. The derma roller is an add on, which I use once a week, on a day when I am NOT using fake tan or steaming my face, which would be too harsh. The day after I use the derma roller, I use the glycolic acid peel, which does help to get rid of the dead skin cells. I follow instructions for derma rolling you can find anywhere on the internet - rolling about 6-8 times per section, across and diagonally. And then I soak my roller in isopropyl alcohol, wash it in hot water with antibacterial soap, then soak it again in sterilising fluid like you get for babies stuff. Then I let it air dry before putting it away. I only use it on clean, bare skin, and then I wash my face AGAIN after using the roller, and then use toner. THEN I apply my skincare products. I do this at night. I find you need to apply the skincare products twice, because they will get absorbed very quickly and your skin is like shoe leather otherwise. So really slather your products on, because your skin will be dry. In the early stages, you may find your skin reacts to the derma roller (mine did), so I used a bit of allergy cream and also a thick skin cream like E45, and took some antihistamine. The reaction happened the first three times I used the roller, but after that my skin got 'used' to it, and now it's absolutely fine. I just got a sore face, a few bumps, watery eyes, and even some puffing, but it went away. (If you have a REALLY bad reaction then obviously don't persist - I found the reaction went away after 24 hours, but you shouldn't continue if you are actively suffering). Do not press the roller on to the skin when you are using it. Just place your forefinger on the roller head, and the natural pressure from that will be enough. You are not trying to actively punch holes in your skin! The difference this has made to my skin is absolutely unreal, and has totally surpassed my expectations. I am now officially a derma rolling addict, and have started derma rolling my neck, decollete and am about to commence boob and tummy rolling to keep my skin tighter. I have also just ordered a 1.5mm needle. If you follow my tips and also ensure you don't rely on the derma roller ALONE for good skin, you will get a fabulous result - you just need to be patient because this is NOT a quick fix!

Brilliant product
Only used this twice. The first time i thought it was gona set my acne off as I have very sensitive skin and acne as it stings a little when you use it and makes your face red...but that’s to be expected! But since I’ve used it I’ve seen a massive improvement in my skin. My acne has cleared up so much and after numerous antibiotics and lotions and potions off doctors and spending hundreds on masks and skincare I am delighted.

Great product!
I’m really impressed with this brand and the Derma Roller itself. I have only used it once so far, and obviously the results are a bit more long term, but I really loved how my skin looked the next morning after using it. It’s great that the serums you put on after are able to really soak into your skin, I think it makes a big difference. I’m looking forward to seeing the continued results!

Only used once so far.
I used this as soon as I got, not too painful but left my face and neck red, so best do it before bed. Can't really say if it works will come back later and update.

It is quite painful.
Too early days to say whether it is effective or not as I have only used twice so far. I am hoping to reduce some acne scarring as well as activate collagen production in my aging skin. It is quite painful.
