I had a thing like this of silver jump rings before and they were fairly soft. I later bought a gold one from Beadnova and those were STURDY. Took pliers to move, not bendable by fingers at all. I came back here, probably three years later, as I’d used all of my silver rings, and I searched beadnova hoping for the same quality. Absolutely great. The ring is a nice touch, but the firmness of the rings here is unmatched.

I ordered these on October 21st and got them on the 23rd - normally, Prime shipping takes three days to reach me instead of the purported two, so I was very pleased with the efficient delivery. The product matches the picture exactly from the casing to the organization of the materials, and the rings - both the jump ring and the holding ring - work perfectly.The holding ring in particular has been a blessing, as I've already used it for several other materials as well, and found a good size match for all of them. There are four notches on the ring of different sizes, so it's really well designed and useful. It has started to scratch a little because the other materials I used on it were a bit stronger, but it hasn't done any functional damage.So far, the silver plating hasn't come off on any of the rings even when I use my decade-old pliers, although depending on which pliers I use there's a little bit of scratching or denting. Still, at these sizes, it's not really noticeable unless someone is getting really up close and personal with your body parts (assuming you're using these rings for jewelry). The selection of sizes are really nice as well, although I do wish there were fewer of the the tiniest ones and more of the larger ones. Still, as I'm primarily using these for earrings and bracelets, it makes sense. I haven't tried using the smallest jump rings yet, but if I run into any difficulty, I'll update this review accordingly. I don't anticipate any problems, though.

There seems to be some bizarre, very thin cellophane tape surrounding the case that was heat-gunned on. I've just spent the last 15 minutes trying to get it off so I can open the compartments. Only comes off in VERY tiny pieces leaving sticky residue on compartments. So, these jump rings might be nice....once I can actually open the compartments to find out...

Bought these as I like Beadnova products, and I really like the feel of Beadnova's jump rings. You don't get as many as with other jump ring sellers, but the heft and sizes are nice, and they work pretty easy for crafts. I also appreciate the pill organizer, that will come in handy later. (It's a key chain pill organizer that the rings come in.) I made a Helm's Chain, large/small 4 in 2, and smaller 4 in 2. Good weight and they have a nice luster, but I'll hold judgement on that until I wear it for a bit.

I just started making my own earrings and bracelet, and wanted an array of jump rings on hand depending on the size of project I was working on.This is a great kit. It has six different size jump rings and the ring tool to help keep them steady while opening them up. They came in what is essentially a 7 day pill organizer (awesome reuse), which keeps everything neat and organized. I ordered them in silver, and am using them mainly with earring and bracelet connectors. I am not having any problems with them tarnishing or changing color, though if I used them for larger products, who knows?One thing to note... I have not found the ring tool terribly helpful. I'm not sure if I'm not using it properly, but I have found that the rings don't stay put very well. I have had more success using my jewelry tool and a heavy duty cuticle nipper together. That aside, however, I think the rings are a great value and I recommend picking them up.

Really like using Beadnova products. Every purchase I have made have always been great quality. Haven't had them tarnish yet. I do however need to mention that the sizes of this particular purchase didn't match up with the label that stated 3mm all the way to 8mm. Mine were 1mm all the way to 6mm. Don't fret though it's understood that mistakes happen. Just thought you should be aware of it. Thanks Beadnova.

I have the 2000 piece silver-tone set with the jump ring tool.There's not a lot you can say about jump rings. The finish is good and matches the chain I bought separately. The range of sizes is nice. These are easy to open and close. I like the plastic container they come in (rather like one of those day-of-the-week pill organizers). I've been pretty rough with the container and it hasn't spilled, and I especially like that you can open each compartment separately.I have, in all my years of beading, never had a jump ring tool. There was a bit of a learning curve but once I figured it out, I loved that thing. It makes the process (I am making a bracelet with a lot of dangly parts) so much faster. Although it is less useful on the two smallest sizes of jump ring, it works on the third size up pretty well.Happy with this set and would buy again.

be careful with the case, which is a refurbished weekly vitamin box lol, the doors are not very secure! Flipped it over to access the ring tool which is hidden in the bottom and I spilled so many rings! They work great though. Easy to work with and seems sturdy! I also had to get the little black paper square thingy out of the garbage pile. I have no idea what it is for or how to use it.
