When I got this bed I immediately noticed a terrible chemical smell. So I took off the cover to wash. When looking at the bedding it seems poorly put together. The cooling gel I do not believe cools at all, and is attached to the foam in a very flimsy manner. The glue is already coming apart (see pictures). However, my dog seems to like sleeping on it and it does support her 85 pounds. I think it’s a good cheaper option than some of the other beds that cost two or three times as much.I have another more expensive bed that my dog only likes to use in winter, as it is too warm and probably too small (I didn’t think she would get to be as big as she did!). This bed you can tell is much better quality. It is also three times as expensive.I needed a bed last minute and didn’t have the funds for a more expensive bed. I think it is fine but will not last as long as the more expensive brands. If you are looking for a bed to last your dog’s life, then probably It is not the one to choose. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative that will be a good bed for a few years this one will do in a pinch. I think it is one of those things where you will spend more in the long run by buying a cheaper version, but sometimes that’s all we can afford. It makes my pup happy so that is enough for me!

If your dog sleeps in a ball a jumbo size for a German shepherd will work. If he sleeps stretched out the jumbo plus might work

My collie loves this bed and I do too! The cooling mattress structure is exactly as pictured and described. It must work because he tends to move off of other beds after awhile, presumably because he gets hot. It seems to be very well made - good zippers, strong seams, durable fabric. My guy likes to dig a little before settling down and while he digs less on this bed - presumably (again) because it's already Just Right - the fabric shows no signs of wear and tear after a month.This quality of this bed easily matches that of beds costing twice as much. The only bad thing is that I have to buy a second one for the living room because my companion is spending all his time in the bedroom on his luxury lounger.

My dog's review: 2 of 5Human review: 5 of 5The whole purpose was to have my dog use the couch less, but as you can see in the picture... that is obviously not the case. Apparently, our couch is that much more comfortable. He will lay on the dog bed if I'm on it too, which we both have slept on and I must say, it is extremely comfortable, especially the edges can be used as neck pillows! Truly debated on a second dog bed to turn into a twin size bed to lay on, but that would be for me and not the dog. I purchased the XL for a 90lb dog, which had plenty room for another dog. Perhaps this is a sign to get another dog.
