Glucose Energy Powder, Fruit Punch 2 Gal Bulk Canister, 1.83 lbs

Bought it for son, who is a Type 1 diabetic. For low blood sugar episodes, we were trying to find something to replace regular soda, OJ, Smarties etc...then, we found this and...........Holy ship! This is THE SINGLE BEST PRODUCT WE HAVE EVER FOUND to raise low blood sugar fast. We take 1 water bottle, funnel 2 scoops into it (about the same sugar/carb content as a regular Pepsi), and shake it up. That will take care of any low BS issues. He sleeps with bottles in his room at all times. He carries a few bottles in his car. Taste is great, mixes pretty well too.But, its the pure Glucose that makes the difference. He can definitely tell the difference between this, Pepsi and OJ and says THIS product is in another world compared to those two.Highly recommend this product but ONLY if you have a need, like for energy, recovery or raising BS in a hurry.

I have used Glukos for years and I love the product. I was bummed when my cycling store stopped carrying it a coupe of years ago. I finally decided to check and yes, Amazon has it! It is light, refreshing and no longer has any colors that could stain your cycling or running clothing. Don’t buy anymore else! This is the best emery drink on the market.

This stuff definitely works but be warned, it can be very messy to deal with when trying to put it in a water bottle. When the canister arrived the powder was all clumped together so I had to break it apart which took quite a while, and even then not all of it came loose. I tried using a small funnel to pour the powder into a water bottle but the powder is so thick that it wouldn’t work. This might be good stuff if you have a wide mouthed bottle but it’s not good for regular water bottles. It can be very frustrating. It also did not include a serving size in terms of how many scoops equals a serving. I had to search through the Q&A section to find out (1 scoop = 1 serving).

Awesome! Finally an sports drink equal to G......., but without all the "added" colors, flavoring, etc.. If you are looking for a "natural" alternative to all the other sports drinks on the market without having to compromise on taste, Glukos is the perfect!

I’m a huge fan of any supplement that can keep me on the bike, hour after hour.

Well, it was still in date. But there was no powder inside.It was one solid mass inside the can.I had to break it apart and grind it down to get a powder that would dissolve.

Very pleased. Easy on the stomach. Price is affordable & should be for a sugar product. I like the attention to keeping the trash out of the product.

I love the fruit punch flavor. I'm working on improving my distance running and Glukos helps provide the fuel I need to keep an even effort.
