Glukos, Glucose Energy Gel, Lemon 2.4 oz, 12 Pack

Amazing product! Was recommended by running coach as alternative to another energy gel product. Although it is a little bulkier in size to carry around, it is easy to consume and recovery is a LOT quicker.

I LOVE this product - it tastes great to me. Some have complained about the thinner viscosity, but that is my preference. I just don't think I can do that thicker gel-stuff. I was first introduced to GLUKOS at the St. Jude's Rock & Roll Half Marathon in Nashville in April 2017. So, I ordered a 12-pack through Amazon because I could not find any retail sellers in my local area. The packaging had LOTS of condensation on the inside and the cardboard was wet - an indication that something was leaking. Turns out there were about half of them that were leaking. Most of them were leaking at the bottom corner seal - just a tiny hole where it didn't seal properly. Well, when you put that packet under some pressure, like to store in a race belt or in a small velcro pocket, that compression causes a very rapid leak out that small hole, making a big sticky mess! I didn't want to consume any of the leaky ones because I was unsure of its safety and can't risk it. Hoping for a refund for this, but more importantly, hoping that GLUKOS will relook the manufacturing process quality control because I want to be a repeat customer!

I was introduced to these at a Rock n Roll Marathon. They are light on the stomach and seem to bring the energy I need. The box arrived and I opened it with many of the gels leaking, VERY slowly at the top seam. So slow that it isn't noticeable until several days after rinsing them off. I thought it was only one or two at first,, turns out all but a few were this way. Would have returned them but Prime returns are no longer free. Just ordered another box, fingers crossed.

Good, quick energy to boost low blood sugar during endurance sports. Easy to digest but burns off quickly. Need to consume at least 2 per hour or supplement with something else. Good taste though.

Glukos gel is so good. Love that its consistency is more like juice than gel making it easier to drink while running. 👍🏼

The basic problem is that this is not a gel. It is a liquid. So it is messy. it certainly is not something you want to use on the go.

I take these for my race. its classified as a gel but is really more of a juice. its easy to consume and you feel the effects right away. My main complaint is compared to other gels, the packet is rather large and could be difficult to carry multiple if you're doing a half marathon or longer. I would definitely recommend as a prerace and if during if you have the room for it.

These are great for quick pick up on a bike ride. No caffeine. Kicks in much faster than gels.
