Works for strong frenchie
I ordered this for my 34 lb French bulldog that pulls a ton and is very strong. Got sick of almost having rope burn on my hang from holding his leash so I ordered this. I was honestly very skeptical because of how strong he is. He also hates harnesses in general. He actually didn't mind this harness when I put it on him. Took him for a walk, and we saw several dogs and people, and he stayed by my side the whole time. I was pleasently surprised-totally different dog.4 stars because the size adjustment doesn't stay put very well.

Not really made for Bulldogs like pictured
Ehhh. I like how it looks and the reflective lines help. I like the ease of putting it on and I feel like he can't escape. BUT, with a 3* rating there is a BUT, it fits AWFUL, I ordered 2 sizes, neither was great, I kept the lesser evil. The middle strap hangs. The shoulders slide off. He continues to pull (when he sees other dogs, which is the issue to begin with) and when I try to correct him, he gets choked and gags. He is a Bulldog, an ENGLISH BULLDOG, just like one pictured. Ended up purchasing a different no choke, no pull harness where his already thin trachea would not be compromised. Waste of $25 :(

Great product, but only works well for 1 of my dogs.
So, this product is a mixed bag for me. I have the Freedom No-Pull harness for my mastiff and it works great, doesn't rub him and all and keep him from pulling beautifully.I wanted to buy a similar product for my other two large dogs, but wasn't excited to for out almost 100 bucks for harnesses.I found these harnesses, which have a similar look, feel and function to the freedom harness. The medium works VERY well for my husky mix. It fits her perfectly, it works well to prevent her pulling and it stays in place. The medium was too small for my larger, barrel chested lab, but the large doesn't quite fit her properly. The large shoulder straps can't be made tight enough, and the strap that goes between her legs is way too big. I am not taking away any stars from this product as I know my lab can be hard to fit, I have had this problem with harnesses in the past.Just know that your dog might be a "tweener", haha! You can see in the pictures how the medium fits the husky perfectly, but the lab's harness is kinda hanging off her. It still works to slow her pulling, but not as well as it would if it fit her properly. For reference, the Husky mix is 40lbs, and Lab is around 50lbs.

Broke in just about a month
So happy I got this. We recently rescued a year old 60 lb lab mix and he was pulling heavy on the harness and leash I got at local petco. After reading reviews I though of trying this out. To my amazement, I could not believe the difference And I wonder how easy it has become for me to walk him now. I supplemented this with the leashboss 3x leash and the combo just works wonders.Edit: Dropping down to 2 stars. The harness broke in just about a month of use. The plastic buckles snapped and the nylon stitching came apart. That when we hah trained our dog to walk easy on the leash and he wasn't pulling as much. When a harness is advertised as a no-pull harness, it should be more durable.

Like a magic pill...
I have tried tones of anti-pull harnesses and none of them seemed to deter my really head- and body-strong pup at home. We didn't walk as much as we'd like because it was just so exhausting. This harness worked immediately! It puts the pressure on the chest when they pull, which gives an automatic correction without you needing to and stops the sled-pulling. It also has a martingale-type connection where you hook up the leash so it gets tighter if they pull (and deters those like my old girl (now passed) who would go limp to get out of every single harness I tried). But, for me, it was the only anti-pull harness I tried that actually worked. My pup would get down real low to the ground and pull like she was in the strongman competition. She doesn't/ can't do that with this harness and when she starts to try, the leash snaps her out of it (not a harsh "snap", just a slight tension in the right place on the chest so she remembers she's attached to my shoulder - that wants to stay in it's socket) and she goes back to a slack leash - all with no thought or effort on my part. I've already recommended it to others in the dog community with pullers and they loved it too.

Not for strong (and strong willed) dogs
This harness broke after 2 months of use. My dog is a young 80 lb. mixed breed. He is a rescue, and prone to pulling, lunging, and generally trying get out of any control so he can run around as he chooses. My dog lunged for a rabbit and the stitching ripped apart leaving my dog without a harness. This product works very well, and kept my dog under control (he was not able to get out of it) -however the fact that it shredded apart during use makes this a bad choice for me.

Better balance for you to hold them back.
I have a 100-pound dog that I need to control. This worked well but eventually, the stitching failed. I sewed up the stitching which only held for a little while. You have more control of your dog with this. If the dog wants to pull there is a better balance for you to hold them back, instead of him dragging you down the street.

Finally a harness that works for us!
Our rescue dog, mixed Border Collie & Siberian Husky, is 73 pounds and very energetic to say the least. We finally found a harness that is easier to put on than several others we have wasted our money on.Further, when used in combination with Leashboss 3X - Two Handle Dog Leash with Extra Traffic Handle - Heavy Duty Double Padded Handle Lead for Walking and Training Large Dogs - 6 Foot - Black (purchased on Amazon) we have had a remarkable turn-around in walking with him.Sure, there are occasions where an unknowing Squirrel is spotted, but the pulling is nothing like it used to be. We credit both the harness AND the leash for the relief we now experience. Leashboss 3X - Two Handle Dog Leash with Extra Traffic Handle - Heavy Duty Double Padded Handle Lead for Walking and Training Large Dogs - 6 Foot - Black Both products highly recommended when used together.
