Very effective heater..surprised me how well it heats for such a small amount of power use.
The product is suitably packaged, arrived safely and is exactly what I would expect in terms of quality for the price point. It is a robust plastic tube and is an extremely effective little heater.I am using it to provide warmth in a heated cabinet project (approx 1m3 capacity) and it is more than adequate for this job. Please note, it is either on or off, there is no variable power control or thermostatic setting function built in.Heating a room...I haven't tried, but assume it would not be enough. There are larger sizes, I would say for large spaces like a room of a house or a garage, get the largest. You can always wire it to a thermostat after all..Fairly certain it would keep a small shed or greenhouse from freezing if positioned centrally, although again this hasn't been tested by myself.Sensible cable length with proper moulded plug which is nice quality. The brackets are plastic and although they could be stronger they are perfectly adequate for holding the lightweight heater. They would probably not stand up to much impact, but the heater should not be placed in a vulnerable position anyway! All in all very happy, it is more than adequate for my requirements!

Sturdy device at a good price
There are literally dozens of tube heaters available here on Amazon and elsewhere. So, how to select which one to buy? I can't offer a simple answer, only highlight some features of this one which influenced me.One thing I wasn't specifically looking for but struck me when I saw it is the IP55 rating of this heater. I wanted to install mine in an outdoors, but sheltered, enclosure, keeping some other electronics equipment from getting too cold. I hadn't seen any other model even quote an IP rating. IP (ingress protection) is rated IPxy where the X number is dust/solids protection and the Y number is moisture/water protection. X and Y run from the lowest (1) to 6 for X and 9 for Y. So IP69 would be dust-tight and submergible. IP55 is pretty good for the location I had in mind. Positive mark in my view.I was also pleased to see it is (or claims to be) locally (UK) designed and manufactured. Not for nationalistic pride, just in favour of reducing products being shipped needlessly around the world. The heater came well-packaged, promptly and was ready to plug-and-play. One strange thing I couldn't resolve was to do with the mounting clamps. Although they hold the heater up I couldn't get them to screw together tightly enough to grip the heater. It was always able to slide horizontally back and forward until the larger diameter ends hit the clamps. (Sudden thought - maybe I was intended to fit the clamps round these larger ends, rather than the tube itself? If that is the case it's certainly not clear in the instruction leaflet. It also won't suit my installation location.) However the heater won't be subject to any sideways forces so this is a minor issue.Big question - would I buy it again? Well, it turns out that my estimate for the heating of the enclosure I have seems to have been a bit optimistic! The overnight temperatures have already dipped below what I would ideally like. I've no reason to assume that this heater isn't working properly. I can't measure whether it's consuming/producing 60W or not. Anyway, I think I'll get a larger one - the 120W - and use it instead. I'd be very happy to buy this make again.

Neat and easy to install
I have it in my garden studio, it does not give a lot of heat but keeps the chill and damp at bay.The quality is very good and it is very neat and unobtrusive

Fast delivery, as described.
Easy to fit, heats up really well, no temp control but I didn't need that

It works.
Arrived within the time stated. It works. I didn't realise it wouldn't have a dial to control the temperature. So it basically comes on till it gets as hot as it does, then cuts off for a while before it turns itself back on. I can't really complain, it is cheap to run.

Don’t waste your money!!!
By far the worst product and seller I have come across while ordering on Amazon (which I have been doing for years)…Don’t waste your money with this product! I bought one 3ft and two 4ft, only two of them worked (kind of) the third didn’t even get warm, never worked at all.I left all 3 units plugged in for 3 days and the ones that worked didn’t even get the wall warm.I requested a refund, it was accepted but I had to pay £15 to ship the items back. From there things just got worse! The seller starts by taking a refund tax..after confirming that all three items were returned I had to chase them to get refunded for all items, of course I didn’t get a full refund as they claimed I completely destroyed the items, it was used and the plastic protector for the plug was missing the only truth in this was the missing plastic protector for the plug (forgot to add it to the package)this is the return I got3ft cost £31.49 - got back £27 (diference from tax for return)4tf cost £39.99 - got back £16 (they stated I completely destroyed the item that never worked, it was used + tax for return)4ft cost £39.99 - got back £23 (stated I destroyed it, it was used and tax for return)+ £15 to return (post office)Seller never got back to me when I stated that I hadn’t destroyed any of the items as I always take special care of items that I have just received and of course I tested them as no one buys something and does try it….. terrible costumer service!!The product is just bad and the seller is even worse.. stay away!! Don’t waste your time or money!!
