I gave this to my daughter as a gift for the first day of school. She is a 5th grade teacher and that first couple of weeks can be extremely busy for her. She sometimes forgets to bring a lunch or eat lunch. She really loved this box full of goodies and it brightened her day. There was a great variety with the items and quite a few things she'd never tried before but was excited to do so. This is not just an ordinary box of snacks and I would recommend this to anyone.I purchased the kit because of the name. "Hangry" - how very clever and it perfectly describes how I think she gets at about 3:00 pm!

I think I may have gotten a few less then expected (I think I'm missing 4-5) but it's hard to tell the difference. I love these especially with the mix of flavours for when I'm in different moods. I bet I'm going to purchase these again. Only thing I wish for is to have them in packs of 6 Boxs! Definitely a must buy for road trips or stay at home vacations. I bought these because I needed some snacks in my room and boy can I say there good for that. It's nice having a box to reach in and take something. The box was cute and well packaged. It arrived quickly like I hoped it would. This box dosent disappoint when it comes to options. I think it would be better if some of the food was replaced like the large circle candys. They were just a bit to big and I thought they were to sweet. Other then that I loved this product and will buy again.

UPDATE:After I had already posted this, the company contacted me to follow up on my feedback. They offered a consolation gift (the questionably named "Man Kit"). I told them I had already submitted the review but that I would updated it after receiving the promised kit. I received it a few days later and I feel comfortable bumping them up to five stars. I think the customer service (overall) was excellent, and the response was detailed and specific - which may shed some light on why it takes longer to get a response.I'm very happy with my original purchase, and I really like the Man Kit, and everyone at my work is extremely interested and jealous in these things. Great experience and would buy again.Original Review:Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. The only drawback is that of the 40 items included, they aren't necessarily equal value. A bag of chips or a granola bar would count as one item, and so would a piece of candy (like a Laffy Taffy). I wasn't really surprised... I didn't think it would be a box full of big items, but it's hard to judge the value when there is so much inconsistency.That said, I keep this in a drawer at work and it's very popular. We don't have vending machines in our building, so it's nice to be able to grab a quick snack when sitting at a desk drains my energy. I think it's a decent value and while I don't think I would buy it regularly, I would buy it again.One comment: The company contacted me after my purchase to request positive feedback. They said if there was *anything* I wasn't 100% satisfied with, to let them know. I replied and said basically my first paragraph, but also noted that I was overall satisfied. I got no response, which for me was a mild bummer - if you reach out to request feedback but go radio silence when it's provided... well, I'd rather you didn't ask in the first place. Again, nothing major enough to keep me from purchasing in the future, but I have a background in customer service and these kind of things stick out to me.

This was a great gift for my college freshman, who was preparing for exams. It is so nice to have found a company that has a good selection, good service, and good delivery.... and all of that for a GREAT price!! In the past, with my other college students, I had to use campus companies that not only charge wayyy to much for this same type of "exam kit", but when I got to check out, they would add an additional $30 for shipping. I had to be very selective in deciding when/why to send fun kits. Now that the "Hangry Kit" is an option, it will be fun to be able to send a variety of their kits during the next couple of years for different events.

It was great! It had every possible snack you can imagine and nothing needed to be refrigerated which is good for my husband who has a long commute! And what you get for the price is also very good. All brand-name products, it should definitely keep my husband from getting extremely cranky when he's hungry!

I got this for my sister who takes a medication that gives her mad munchies at night. It was so perfect she went and bought one from their site where you can advertise what you get. Don't know of that's cheaper than going to the store to get the same thing, but who am I to judge? Anyways, the box works absolutely wonderfully as a gift for someone who is hard to shop for, but loves to eat little odd things every once and a while. Also,**the box advertises what it is on the outside when shipped**I must have missed that in the description, but there's your warning! I'm pretty sure there's a way to change it at checkout. Also, some items, like the candy appeared to be full-sized, but most of it is not.

Kinda disappointing for the price... the box, supposed to be a gift(so leery to open) may have everything in it listed but is quite small. They must be very literally small snack size.. while yes matching the description, somehow is not $30.00 worth of snacks. I loved the idea but didnt occur to me that "2 airheads" were 2 individual snacks. Beware: read the WHOLE description and contents and realize that is EXACTLY the contents. The picture makes it look like so much more
