I really love how warm this coat keeps me. It is very well made with a lot of attention to detail put into its design, The wrists of the coat have wrist bans that block the wind and cold from coming up through the sleeves and the hood has an inner pulley that helps draws the hood closer to my face which effectively keeps the wind and cold out. The coat can be zipped and buttoned, but even just buttoning the coat and not zipping it keeps the cold out.The back of the hood has a strip of velcro that the hood can be made shorter by if the hood is too big and falls too far down the face. I used the velcro strip to shorten the hood and the hood fits perfectly now. But I removed the fur around the hood as it made it look as if I had grey, wild looking hair framing my face. But, other than that, this coat really is outstanding.The coat has snaps around the hip area that can be undone to make the coat less restrictive for those who may find the coat too snug around the hips. The coat can also be pulled in at the waist by inner cords which is another great feature of this coat.I am 5'1 and three quarters inches tall and weigh 124 pounds. I ordered a medium because I like to wear heavy sweaters and wanted to have extra space in the coat to accommodate a heavy sweater. I ordered my coat in pink and it really is a very light colored, pretty pink. The medium is roomy enough for me to wear a heavy sweater under it and not feel like a stuffed sausage within it.I just love this coat! I am surprised that it is not priced higher as it very well could be due to how well it's made and how warm it keeps me in cold weather.

Ok, I read so many reviews before purchasing this coat. They were very helpful. The good reviews are not lying, this coat is great! It was delivered quickly and arrived in a cute zippered package, which was great because it was pouring rain when it was delivered. I got to use my new coat the following day in the cold weather. It is so warm! I had to walk in the wind and I felt no wind at all! It's very comfortable, not bulky like other winter coats. The velcro on the top of the hood is nice so you can adjust the hood to fit so it won't fall down too far over your face. The pockets kept my hands warm, too. The pockets are in the front of the coat, instead of on the sides, which is a little annoying but that's not a make or break component for me and I'm already getting used to that. There are snaps on the sides of the coat so if you prefer a little more leg room for some reason, you can have it. The outer cuff has two fasteners so you can adjust the fit, if needed. The inner stretchy cuff is nice, not too tight and not too loose. It allows you to tuck your gloves inside if you like. The arm length of the coat is perfect, not too short like other coats. I've used this coat outside while shoveling snow and it was great! Again, so warm! This coat is water proof, which is nice when in the snow shoveling as well as for impromptu snowball fights. I bought an XL and can wear a sweater or pull-over hoodie under it and it still fits nicely. Although, the coat is so warm that a big sweater isn't needed. I love that this coat is made from recycled materials and has no real fur on it and no real duck down in it. I hope this review is as helpful as some of the ones I read before purchasing. I totally recommend this winter coat! I absolutely love it!

Warm, stylish, not too poofy like the puffer coats. Has side vents you can unsnap for more hip room in the car. 2 way zipper for same purpose. I love how the buttons are not seen on with a little thread but are attached by cloth tabs, not easy to come off. Only downside is zipper is plastic and I'm wondering if it will last. Sometimes hard to catch at the bottom. But all in all I am happy with the purchase

This coat will be very warm on a cold winters day. It’s made very well and looks great. It does run small in the hips. I bought the size I would normally wear and it fits great at the top but smaller at the hips. Keeping anyway.

I'm one of those people that's always cold, and this year I decided to try a parka-style jacket instead of the traditional wool. I'm thrilled with this one. It fits well, the pockets are exactly where I want them to be (handy for keeping my hands warm) and it repels water so I don't have to worry about an umbrella for quick trips to and from the car. The hood had enough overhand to keep my glasses dry without being too much, and the ability to button and/or zip is perfect. This is the best thing I've bought in forever, and I'm thrilled with it.

Tends to run small. I normally take a large so I got an extra large. Fits wonderful.Extremely warm...it rained/snow when I first wore it and it repelled the rain and wet snow.Pockets are deep and the hood is big but I love it.Very well made!

I needed a new winter coat and took the chance on buying one online since shopping in my town is horrible. It seems to be well made and sturdy. It's not been cold enough yet to ware it but from the way it feels when I put it on I know it is going to be very warm. I have to have a coat that blocks the wind because I live in a state with wind most of the time. Winter wind will blow right through coats if they aren't made to block it. I made sure this one was made to block it and I can't hardly wait to wear it. Only thing is....the hood is massive! Keeps the wind out of your face but also blocks your vision. I really love a hood so I'll just make do. No problems otherwise.Update: It finally got cold enough to wear this coat. It IS nice and warm and blocks the wind very well. The only thing I DON'T like is the hood....this hood is HORRIBLY HUGE! When pulled up it falls completely over my head AND face. Oh yeah....It blocks the wind but it also blocks my vision. I do prefer a coat with a hood but this is ridiculous! Taking off the fur does not help either. Sorry but I have to take off a couple of stars for this massive hood!

Love this coat! It's not terribly thick, but it's as warm as a country quilt! The fur around the hood is removable, but the hood itself is not. The zipper goes from the bottom AND the top which makes it comfortable to sit in. There are 3 snaps on each side at the bottom to open up about 6 inches at the bottom. Makes it easier to get into pant pockets. Coat is very flattering and covers my behind. My only complaint, the pockets. Even though they are deep and waterproof, there is no insulation in the outside layer if the pocket, so without gloves, my hands get cold. Other then that, this coat is exactly what I was looking for. It's been minus 20 Celsius all week with the windchill and this coat is holding up to a Canadian winter so far!

I haven't worn it yet but l can give you another review in December.

Bought this for a Canadian winter, so far it’s been mild but this coat has been warm and the length is nice for sitting outside. I don’t love that the pockets are buttoned and not zipper but they are deep.

Not feminine as shown in photos. Comes up very large in shoulders. Had to return as far too big. I'm a UK size 8 and ordered small.

Overall warm, comfortable & good quality! Love the style colour and pockets. There are some little fluffs that I keep finding on the inside that are sticking to my clothes but I think that’s just because it’s new. Really impressed with this jacket!
