There have been many complaints about this article which I as a retired doctor feel were unreasonable. These masks cost the same as I was paying for paper masks (per item) and these can be washed without any problem by hanwashing gently in detergent. In particular the ear loops are much more comfortable than elastic or cotton string found on disposable masks. In terms of efficiency, unless you are buying seriously expensive medical personnel standard masks, then these masks, like most paper masks or homemade cotton masks will not stop viral particles entering or exiting. Like most paper and cotton masks these are an inexpensive way of reducing the spreading of respiratory particles.

The masks are okay. They’re all one size. I ordered the pack of 6 in the colour black. Packaging was alright. I would probably recommend washing before using. It does say on the front of the pack, there fashion masks that only protect from dust etc. Personally for me, without tying up the ends, it doesn’t fit my face at all (Quite loose) whereas my partner had no problem. Also the fabric is very lite and flimsy. I would of preferred a thicker fabric. They’re not bad but they’re not great either. Price wise they should be a bit cheaper but that’s just my opinion. I went for these because they’re simple and the reviews were not as bad.. but I think I’ll keep looking for better, more protective masks.

They are a single ply fabric so will not be using them everywhere, but they are cheap, washable and reasonably comfortable to wear. I purchased them to use for short term use whilst shopping locally and when its not too busy, so less people therefore easier to maintain distance. I will be replacing my masks regularly so have purchased different masks to suit the occasion.I have better quality cotton, breathable 3ply masks for busier & enclosed spaces. Cotton masks are expensive and as masks are not expected to used continuously for extended periods, they will also need replacing at regular intervals, so this is the best way I can reduce costs and keep safe.

These are basic but perfect, good value for money, if you hold a flame in front of your face with this on, you can’t blow it out even if you blow hard. Most of the paper ones and cloth ones you can buy, the flame goes straight out. People need to realise that a mask doesn’t protect you, it protects others from you.... these are perfect. Have ordered more for my parents.

I've been reading the reviews on here and to be honest I'm flabbergasted. What do people want for the money they have paid? I bought these masks for travelling to and fro. Work on public transport.Yes they are thin but they are easier to breath than the medical masks I have been wearing. I ordered them on Friday and they were delivered Saturday.6 masks for £5 I am impressed.

It’s not as expected but it’s the price you paid for.So it’s a thin elasticity material. It’s not sponge like others say but I see why they got confused..almost like sponge.It’s very thin so I don’t see it doing much protecting from the virus.It’s comfortable, breathable, washable (I stuck mine in the washing machine delicates wash), stretches so fits to size.Do I think it’s a good buy?? It’s a back up buy for me. Let’s not forget the delivery My goodness I thought I was gonna get it once it’s all over. But I got it.I’m not fully disappointed just expected better.Like I said, it won’t protect you no, but it’s better than you tryna keep your scarf over your mouth whilst you shop. #LookForAnAlternativeProtection
