So far I give this trailer hitch pin 5 stars. It appears well made and very sturdy. Due to past problems I had with a different brand I was very intentional with my choice this time. My last locking pin froze up on me and the key broke off ion the lock. I had to saw that pin off. This pin comes with the anti-theft Plum Blossom Lock Core that is much sturdier than a conventional flat key. I also wanted the extra security offered by Extra Safety Clip & Hole in each hitch lock pin add to security in case of the locking system falls out or is damaged. Those two features alone are well worth the additional cost. This hitch pin comes in a box marked Made in China. It still however seems to be very high quality. Time and wear will tell.

I originally purchased a Bulldog hitch lock, but like the Curt---both fine products---it did not fit my Toyota Tacoma. Yes, it is a 2 inch receiver, but, Toyota double walls the receiver and therefore make those two products just barely too short. After much research, I decided on the Mictuning. I wanted the key like a vending machine key. Circular, reducing the chance of breakage and harder to duplicate. The second does not have the locking head mechanism. The rubber o-rings are not necessary, but I think they are a very nice touch as they don't allow the hardware to slide side to side....it's quieter and it looks nicer. Recommended.

There's only one lock. You have to share the lock between the two bolts. Should come with two locks.. I should have looked closer before I purchased.

Ordered as this was exactly what I needed to lock my bike rack in place on my truck and was excited to receive it however I wish it was a bit shorter as its too long and hangs out on either side and the rubber washers that come with it do not make up the difference...other then that its solid and a good product.

This was a solid and nice hitch lock pin setup, specifically because it had a barrel type key, which can stand up to more torque and wear over time. However, I really wish it came with two (2) locks. I have a 2” hitch that has a 5/8” sleeve/pin hole, and an extender to reduce to a 1.25” bike rack that has a 1/2” sleeve/pin hole. Since this hitch lock came with both sized lock pins (1/2” & 5/8”) it would have been nice to have it come with two (2) locks, keyed the same, to accommodate locking two separate hitches / locations. Because it did not have two separate locks, I returned it and had to buy a lesser key-type (flat key, instead of barrel) which was a plus for this item, as it came with a barrel key setup.

Ordered this item to lock my hitch brake light n tow hitch when installed. Comes with to different size shafts for better fitment. Very sturdy n easy lock wirh cover cap. Plenty of O rings to adjust tighness n prevent rattles.

These are very well made. They are as good as the Yakima I had but lost. They include two sizes of pass thru bolts.
