Coquimbo Solar Fountain, Solar Water Pump Garden Pond Fountain, Built-in Storage Battery for Garden, Small Pond, Birdbath, Pool, Fish Tank and Lawn (2W)

I ordred one of these last spring/summer as I have four nature ponds and though I care for them with wildlife and pet safe products, having the added help of these little pumps is both nice to watch and helpful. I have only bought the ones without battery back up and the instructions to switching "off" battery and switching to solar weren't in my packaging, I took a chance and popped it into my small pond up at the top of the garden and the fountain went right into action to about 3 1/2 to 4 feet high and remained that way all day. Today, it's happily doing the same. I live in northeast Scotland so as you might imagine sunshine can be on short supply but as we had an amazing summer last year and a really good spring so far (over 20C today and past few days) having my gardener cut back on some of the tree canopy and also doing some cutting on our own, the upper ponds are happily clear and ready for some oxygenating plants as seen in photos and today I planted a water lily there. I also have ordered one for our much larger pond at the bottom of the garden but it gets less sun so we shall see once trees are trimmed a bit back.This is a nice little pump. Keeps water clear and with a battery back up, even better. There are many of these solar pumps available but for the price and given the performance, I'm really pleased and much better than the ones advertised at over £50! I've tried those too, I prefer the disc floaters. Just pop them in and let them go.

A good product for the price I paid. I couldn’t get it to work for almost a month after purchasing and was going to return it. However, my Grandson showed me I needed to push the pump into the base of the solar panel. This could have been clearer .. the instructions weren’t very detailed and the seller didn’t reply to my feedback question although several other purchasers did. However, again, none of them mentioned connecting the pump and as it was already connected with a cable, I didn’t know it had to be further connected. Hence loss of one star. Also the long piece of the fountain has split so I am now having to use just the smallest part for the spray. Having said that, great little fountain for the price.

I have had this product for a year now, it was packed away for the winter and started up again no problem in the spring. I use the head with the most holes in to produce a fine spray and, hopefully, most airation, the downside of this is that it does clog up and need regular cleaning of the head. I would try a different spray pattern but once the current head was fitted, it is a very tight fit and I'm reluctant to force it off in case I damage it. It cheers me up every morning to see it playing away in the sunshine! If no sun, it does try it's best to spray with little spurts. If the sun has been out and goes behind a cloud the spray continues to play for a while, depending on ratio of sun/cloud. Very happy with product although I have noticed that a couple of the panels have white crazing on them, it doesn't seem to affect performance as yet. Would happily buy a replacement if necessary.

I tested this in my kitchen sink as I’m waiting for my bird bath to arrive. The spray was a good show. Has different attachments for sprays and it’s solar charged and had a pump fitted underneath with suction cupsWill post new pics once birdbath arrives

Quick delivery. A bit disappointed with this. Works well with no fittings attached when sun is shining. Not impressed with the attachments though.Also I believed that it had a battery so would work with stored energy but it doesnt.

Worked great after letting it charge for a day but you must turn off during the night. You can't just leave it on and think it will work when the sun is shining

Like the amount of water this little fountain can pump. It's in a bird bath and the birds have been seen sitting on top of the fountain head in the recent warm weather!

This only worked for a month , not worth the money
