Q: This or stanley sw 60 1/2 ? which has better fit and finish?

Stanley 60 1/2 hands down. If you can find an older one they are even better. The newest version (which I own as well) is not one of my favorites. Top of the food chain is my Lie Nielsen.

Q: are the adjustment rough or fine? how out flat is the sole?

The adjustment is fine and the sole needs work. Not a huge amount of work though. Onice tuned up well this plane is easy to use.

Q: Is the replacement blade available in the market? If not is there any compatible blade?

These take a 1 3/8" blade with a 5/8" slot, and have three slots for the adjuster. They are made by Stanley, Hock, Lee Valley, and others.
